DOW® 795 Structural Glazing

DOW® 795 is a high grade silicone used for structural glazing and weather sealing. It’s made for both site and factory glazing and is commonly used in curtain wall work. Once cured, it forms a tough, flexible seal that handles building movement and harsh outdoor conditions.

It bonds well to common glazing materials including glass and aluminium, and is designed for long term performance in sun, heat and moisture. It can also be used for projects that need both structural bonding and weather sealing in one product, as long as the glazing design follows Dow®’s project requirements.

For any structural use, Dow® requires project specific approval along with testing of all materials involved. Installers should follow Dow®’s application guidelines and ensure all surfaces are clean and compatible before use.
